2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 lemon, rind only, grated
6 lemons, juice, strained
1. Boil the water, sugar, and lemon rind
together for 5 minutes.
2. Strain and add the lemon juice.
3. Let cool off.
4. This syrup can be added to any fruit juice
or can be had plain ,
store in a glass bottle cleaned with hot water and
ideal proportions would be - 1.5 tablespoons added to a
glass (200 ml ) of chilled water and a pinch of
rocksalt ,black pepper powder & jeera powder
, a sprig of mint leaves and lottsa ice .
